To offer reliable and efficient services, Riz Remit has some terms and conditions that aim to enhance the convenience of your money transfer process. As our valued customer, you must read out and acknowledge all the terms and conditions set out by our company. The method of sending and receiving money using our mobile app, website, or agent will reach its destination once the terms and conditions are accepted.
It is essential to read these terms and conditions in their sections since they are legally binding. The provisions mentioned above determine our responsibilities, enable limitations on our liability, and provide exemptions from our need to reimburse losses.
Definitions:
Contract:
Riz Remit has a separate contract for each money transfer through us that incorporates these terms and conditions. Our valued customers acknowledge that we process the transaction through our partners and must provide all the required information to complete your transaction with Riz Remit Limited. The whole agreement or contract between Riz Remit and its partners and you that regulates the use of the service and each recipient of the service is contained in the terms and conditions and other paperwork about the service.
Riz Remit will modify these terms and conditions if law and regulation require change. After a transaction has been completed, any modification won’t affect the ongoing transaction. However, the process will involve any transaction that will be completed after the modification to these terms and conditions. Just a click will bring us together. Our esteemed clients may reach us via email at info@rizremit.com or over the phone at +44 1245 953337 / +44 1245 953338 to learn more about our services and, if required, get a copy of our terms and conditions.
Our Services:
Riz Remit's services allow our customers to swiftly choose a recipient and transfer money to them. Our customers can send money directly to their bank account or may use the mobile app and web portal. The recipient can receive the funds in person.
You must be 18 years old to use the Riz Remit services. Our valued customers can use Riz Remit's services strictly for personal use and may not be utilized for illegal matters like gambling, escrow, or trust purposes. Kindly make sure you have read the fraud notice form. If you change your mind after we've paid a person you've chosen, we will not be deemed liable.
Riz Remit will collect necessary information about its customers, such as identification details, while processing any transaction to fulfill our regulatory responsibilities.
After a complete transaction, Riz Remit's customer will receive a PIN called a "transaction PIN," which must be given to the recipient for the funds to be collected.
There are several ways to receive funds with Riz Remit. Cash or a direct bank account transfer can be used for this transaction. When payments are made in cash, the recipient will be requested to provide identification details to ensure the correct recipient is being paid out.
Riz Remit will make every effort to enable the receiver to get their money within a few minutes, by the end of the following working day, or at the latest by the seventh business day, depending on which partner the funds are transferred via and subject to legislative or regulatory limitations. If an agent location processes a transaction and cannot swiftly provide the money for payment, there may be a delay.
It is the sender's responsibility to provide the recipient with the transaction data to facilitate the collection of funds. If the recipient's information is entered incorrectly, the payment process may be delayed.
The receipt that is given at the agent's location or on the mobile app or online portal will show the transaction charge.
The recipient must provide all the essential information requested by Riz Remit or its partners, including the sender's name, transaction number, amount sent, and country of origin, as well as a valid government-issued ID, to complete the transaction. However, there might be additional local regulatory requirements and local restrictions. Several forms of identification are accepted depending on the country in which the transfer is received. The person selected by Riz Remit or its agent will receive the transaction payout.
When the receiver provides all the information requested by Riz Remit or its partner, we will swiftly pay out our customer's transactions. Payouts at agent locations or pay-out partners will be made if the agent or pay-out has the funds available for the transaction, and they will be done during the agency/destination pay-out operating hours.
As a money transfer company like others, Riz Remit is not allowed to do business with some specific restricted individuals under applicable legislation. The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation and HM Treasury issued a list of asset freeze targets. Riz Remit and its partners will check the list for all transactions. To avoid the match, Riz Remit will investigate the matter to see whether the match corresponds to the name on the list. The process of sending payments may be delayed throughout this whole process. Riz Remit's investigation team may also need additional identity information from the sender or receiver.
The agent may provide goods and services in addition to ours. The agent's terms and conditions offer these extra goods and services distinct from ours.

You can only use the services to send money to your friends, family, or relatives, not for business or any other purpose. Fees:
The costs and exchange rate will be disclosed following the rules before the transaction's execution, and carrying out the transaction constitutes acceptance of the charges and exchange rate. Charges for utilizing the service and information on the exchange rate will be payable to Riz Remit.
The receiving party will make payments in the receiving country's currency. With a margin, interbank rates are the basis for calculating the exchange rate. The currency rate displayed throughout the transaction will be the same rate used when the transaction is paid out. However, in many countries, the rate can only be estimated because of local rules; the exact exchange rate is verified when the transaction is paid.
The amount transmitted will be translated into the local currency for some partners' cash pickup transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA). USD has been chosen as the pay-out currency, but the location might not pay out in USD.
It is not required of Riz Remit to match or exceed the exchange rates made available to the general public by other currency exchange companies. Riz Remit frequently changes exchange rates throughout the day to reflect changes in financial markets.
You are responsible for any phone service provider fees, including data services or other fees, that result from using the mobile app for a transaction.
Some countries may charge fees and taxes for services at the time of receipt. The recipient of the funds in an account could be subject to extra fees. It is up to the transaction's sender to verify if the receiving bank will impose additional costs.
If the transaction remains unpaid within a year of its date, Riz Remit may impose an administrative fee. We shall not be required to perform an expired transfer if the transaction is not collected within 90 days, at which point it will be declared "expired."
Right to Cancel/Request Refund:
You are not allowed to cancel a transaction except under particular circumstances. However, if the receiver has not picked up or received the money, we might be able to reverse the transaction. Refund requests must be sent in writing, and while they are usually handled quickly, they may take up to 30 days to process, depending on the payout confirmation or response.
Customers can request to cancel a transaction before it is sent to be paid out. Email and customer support requests will only be answered during that time.
Depending on the customer's bank, the refunding procedure may take four to five business days.
To refund a transaction, we don't charge any fees. We will reimburse both the transferred amount and the fee for cash transfers that were unsuccessful or incorrectly completed. We shall reimburse the total amount transferred plus the cost for account transfers in cases where the transfer was unsuccessful, or the money wasn't received. If the request has been made more than 13 months after the transaction was completed, refund claims will not be processed.
